If you have selected CGPA scale- then for that, select the maximum CGPA scale according to your university
for eg: 10 etc then while filling the marks of each year you have to fill four field namely :
"subject"- fill the subject name
"grade obtain"- fill the grade obtain in that particular subject
"equivalent point"- It is number representation of grade obtain ,
for eg: grade obtain- A ,equivalent point-number representation of "A"
in our case we selected CGPA scale 10 so equivalent grade point for "A" = 10.
In case you select CGPA scale "5" so equivalent point-number representation of "A" = 5.
"subject credits"- enter credits for that particular subject.
